Ok. So It’s Alive and Drew Ford’s business affairs have been taken over by some strangers I’ve never met or talked to in my life. They are looking through all of his stuff trying to get comics where they need to go. I honestly can’t tell you if Issue 6 of Holler will be in comic shops or not.
Drew had also been talking to DARK HORSE about collections. I think Aztec Ace was going that route and BREATHERS was in the works. From what Drew said so was a collection of HOLLER. Unfortunately communication on the the details of those dealings were fuzzy at best. I saw no contracts so I’m just going to go back to my original plan for this. Self publish the issues then collect them with a publisher…..
So, Issue 1 is out of print. I am planning on getting copies soon. Then depending on the status of 6, either have those for sale or print them myself. Issue 7 was solicited but I highly doubt that that issue or the final issue, number 8 will be distributed through Diamond.
So I’m going to be going to the post office a lot once more. Also I will be on my site more. I really feel bad for Drew’s family and friends but a business man he was not. A lot of folks have been left in the lurch.
As always the Holler pages will be posted on this site… And as per my original plan, new pages until the end every Wednesday and Thursday.
